Details
Portixol is the perfect 'C' shaped cove, used by fishermen for hundreds of years due to its natural protection. It is the perfect bay for swimming and snorkelling, has crystal clear waters and excellent access to the pebble beach. The descent is along a good path, made by the fishermen's families to ensure that they can still access the boats and go fishing in their old age.
We will take the old fishermen's path through the forest with stunning views back to the bay and the Mediterranean. Once you have reached the top after a climb of 300 metres, it is a gentle walk through a beautiful fertile valley with almond, fig, olive and carob trees.
Tip: Bring your snorkelling gear, the bay is perfect for this.
Route for private groups of maximum 6 people. Charge of 15 € per extra person.
